Anxiety Management,Trauma Resolution and PTSDI support people in developing meaningful skills towards relaxation and inner calm. I teach meditation and relaxation skills, and I help people develop a sense of meaning that makes life more satisfying. I will help you recognize how previous traumas are affecting your present day functioning, and I will help you develop approaches to regulate and understand your emotional reactions. My goal is to help you resolve your struggles as quickly as possible, while also respecting the time it takes to heal. My work is very interactive, and I view it as my role to create a safe atmosphere in the therapy session to facilitate this resolution.
I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and I use this approach to facilitate trauma resolution. EMDR is also very useful in helping people learn to live with and manage anxiety and stress. I use it to enable people to develop more adaptive responses to emotionally difficult situations.
